LZKS Král’lová pri Senci
Trnava is a city in western Slovakia, 47 km (29 mi) to the north-east of
Bratislava, on the Trnávka river. It is the capital of a kraj (Trnava
Region) and of an okres (Trnava District). Because of the many
churches within its city walls, Trnava has often been called "parva
Roma", i.e. "Little Rome", or more recently, the "Slovak Rome".
The little airfield LZTR is situated to the north-east, more closely to
Boleráz, and is owned by Aeroklub Trnava. Its runway is designated
14/32, with a length of approximately 1000 and a width of 100 meters.
The grass strips to both ends are also used for glider landings.
Important for night time flights in X-Plane: The club building is equipped
with a bright beacon!
In this scenery you will find all characteristic objects and even one of the
little churches in Boleráz. Few kilometers south there's another grass
airstrip on the company grounds of Mastr s.r.o. in Trnava Kopánka. I
couldn't find any information about this field and it seems to be closed.
In this scenery it has got the non-official ICAO ID "LZXX".
