LZSK Svidník The Svidník we mean (rarely German: Oberswidnik, before 1907 Felsöszvidnik) is a town in eastern Slovakia, acting as the capital of Svidník District in Prešov Region. There is a little airfield near the town at an elevation of 354 m MSL, a real paradise, not only for ULs, with a 1200 x 30 m runway, orientated 01/19. The asphalt runway is accompanied by an emergency grass strip of appr. 1000 m. Svidník Airport is owned by Aeroklub Svidník. CREDIT: chris noe for his really phantastic Flyby Planes (hang gliders) included in this scenery. Watch out for them, they are circling around the airport at different altitudes! In X-Plane the field is a bit more sloped than in reality, but I would prefer flying with runway following terrain contours. ATTENTION: There are two versions available – with and without orthophotos (7.24 MB versus 5 MB). I don't recommend to use the orthos, if you fly X-Plane with default scenery. But you can use the orthos, if you have already created and installed orthofoto +49+021. (If you don't like my greenish orthophotos, you can delete the poly section in WED anyway!) Recommended setting in rendering options->stuff to draw: "mega-tons", and following libraries should be installed: The Handy Objects Library NAPS library OpenSceneryX R2 LibrARY ruscenery If you do not already have the libraries used in this package, you may find download links in the Master Library List:  http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?app=downloads&showtopic=90776
